Public funding (Legal Aid) exists to ensure that the less well off have access to justice, and not just the rich. Although it is increasingly difficult to find solicitors who underake legal aid due its lower levels of pay, at Williams and Airey we are committed to providing legal aid.
Evidence required for legal aid
- Pay slips for the last complete month
- Bank statements for the last complete month

State benefit award letter e.g. Income Support, Tax Credits, etc..
We will not be able to complete the legal aid assessment and sign you up for legal aid without evidence of your income.

What if you are not eligible?
If you are not financially eligible for legal aid, we offer a number of Fixed Fee options including a fixed cost initial 1/2 hour consultation for £50+VAT.
